Brisbane River, last year this area was all under water from flooding.

Across the street from the old memorial was this stunning contemporary building.

Old Regents theater, used to be Her Majesty’s Theater. Katie used to go to the ballet here when she was young.

It is winter here. I have been wearing short sleeved shirts and there are flowers blooming; this is my kind of winter!

Very contemporary new facade at Wintergarden shopping center in downtown Brisbane.

Brisbane City Hall

While walking around the mall in downtown Brisbane, I suddenly heard American sports caster voices – I turned around and there was a baseball game on the big screen. (Unfortunately it wasn’t the Tigers.)
